This is my go-to appetizer when I don't know what to make. I always have
in the house and everyone loves it. Serve with crackers, breadsticks, or fruit, like apples. Experiment with different jams. I picked up Mango Chardonnay Jam at Tishbi Winery in Israel.
It was fantastic in this recipe.
1/2 cup jam or preserves*
1 8 oz can crescent roll dough
1 8 oz wheel brie cheese
*You can use more or less, depending on how sweet you like it
(See below for complete directions)
Preheat oven to 350F.
Spread out crescent roll dough on cookie sheet until it's one large square.
Place brie in middle of the crescent dough.
Spread the jam evenly on top of the brie.
Use the extra dough that isn't under the brie to cover it competely.
Bake for 15 minutes, or until outside is lightly brown.
